- Cheapest drive-up 10×10: Public Storage, 2806 S 44th St (66106). A ground-floor drive-up 10×10 was $94 online ($118 in-store). It also had a drive-up 10×15 at $137 and an enclosed 10×20 at $166. This pad isn’t on SpareFoot, so you’ll only see it on Public Storage’s site.
- Smallest and cheapest small units: Public Storage, 3150 S 44th St (66106). Swing-door drive-up units started at 6×6 $30 ($40), 6×10 $60 ($80) and 10×15 $86 ($114). Its enclosed drive-up 10×20 was $154 ($205), the lowest 10×20 we saw in KCK.
- All drive-up on State Ave: Public Storage, 5500 State Ave (66102). Every inside-sized unit there is ground-floor drive-up: 5×5 $46, 5×10 $73, 10×10 $121 and 10×15 $182. It isn’t on SpareFoot either.
- StorageMart is mid-pack on drive-up. On SpareFoot, State Ave listed drive-up 5×10 $80, 10×10 $117 and 10×15 $144, and Southwest Blvd listed 10×10 $162 and 10×20 $160, with 25–75% off for 3 months on most cards.
- Big enclosed units for trucks and boats. Public Storage lists enclosed drive-up units “available for vehicle storage” up to 10×30 at 6600 State Ave ($293), 5500 State Ave ($262), N 78th St ($261) and 2806 S 44th St (10×35 $218).
- Gates close at 10 PM. Every facility here posts gate access 6:00 AM–10:00 PM daily. Public Storage shows a “24/7 Access Available” badge at 6600 State Ave and 3150 S 44th St; ask what it takes to get it.

- Swing door vs roll-up. The cheapest small units at 3150 S 44th St have swing doors. They’re fine for boxes, but a roll-up door is easier for a couch or a mower.
- Enclosed vehicle units cost more than parking. If you only need a spot for a car or trailer, uncovered parking was much cheaper: 10×25 spaces from $85 at 6600 State Ave and 3150 S 44th St, and a 10×20 space at $55 at 2806 S 44th St.
- Two sides of town. S 44th St (66106) is south KCK, State Ave and N 78th St (66102 and 66112) are the west and central corridor, and Southwest Blvd (66103) sits by the state line near Rosedale.
